Let Me START With Saying --- Suzzie's Mom --- And I Are Close To SAME Ages..... Suzzie's Gramma (my sister) Was Quite Abit Older Than Me... Actually Qualified To Be More Like A --MOM-- To Me.... As My Mother & Dad Had A Very Large Family..... Back In Those Days (considered normal) As KIDS Were NEEDED To Run The FARM..... !!!
My MOM Moved Me & My Older Brother **CHOKE** To Town In 41 ..... I Actually Prefered To Spend As Much Time As Possible Back Out In The Woods.... Where Suzzie's Gramma & Grampa Lived On A FARM.... To Get There How-ever Required Some Ingenuity On MY Part.... --- HOW... ???? ----
Well, Fortunately There Was A Creamery Here In Town ( You Know Like Land-O-Lakes Nowa Days ) Only It Was Called --- QUALITY Creamery & Dairy --- Sooo What I Had To Doooooo Was Walk Over To The DAIRY About 4:00 O'clock In The Morning And Catch A RIDE With The MILK Truck.... Remember In Those Days MY DRIVER Only Made That Route Every 4--Days or Soooo Cuz Most Farmers ONLY SOLD CREAM .... The Hogs Got The MILK... !!!!

Sooooo, 1944 era ... Here We Have Suzzie's Grampa's (Diddy's) Wheels..... ! ! Only In Those Days Henry--Ford Gave 1 Color Option --BLACK-- .... Once A Week We Would ALL Pile Into The OLE FORD And Head For Town (35 miles away) ---Grocery Shopping Day--- ..... Our BIG TREAT Was ** EATING OUT ** ...... !!! Our Mc-Donnald's Consisted OF A Ring Of Bologne & A Box of Saltine Crackers In The Back--Seat of This Ole FORD.... Geeees Was That GREAT... ! ! ! Even Once In Awhile We Got To Split A Bottle of Root--Beer.... (remember tootsie..!!! ???) ......
